Environmental Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses using predetermined techniques to meet service requirements
• Comply with safety standards, control standards, and environmental policies
• Participate in the development or update of new methodologies and protocols
• Operate, facilitate, and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
• Notify management regarding equipment malfunctions or replenishment needs
• Optimize laboratory processes

Requirements

• Technical or university degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields
• 1 year of recommended experience in similar functions
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of environmental analysis methods
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment use, safety procedures, and sample traceability
• Experience in the implementation and validation of environmental assays
