Environmental, Health & Safety Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer site EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, local, and company requirements
• Oversee and continuously improve safety training programs, including LOTO, Respiratory Protection, and Forklift Safety
• Identify, assess, and implement actions to reduce biological, physical, chemical, and ergonomic workplace hazards
• Maintain accurate safety and environmental records, permits, and regulatory documentation
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations using root cause analysis
• Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and collaborate with leadership to drive a proactive safety culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience creating and facilitating safety programs in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of Federal OSHA and State of Nevada safety programs
• Experience with incident investigation and corrective action implementation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA General Industry Safety & Health certification
• CPR/First Aid and Fire Extinguisher usage training
• Forklift certification
• Knowledge of EPA regulations and compliance
