Environmental Health & Safety Staff

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs and compliance initiatives to ensure occupational health, safety, and environmental protection
• Monitor KPIs and implement accident prevention programs
• Manage machine safety, OHS equipment, and ergonomic programs
• Conduct risk assessments and identify workplace hazards
• Oversee Emergency Response Programs (ERP), including fire brigades and emergency response teams
• Plan and execute fire and disaster prevention training and evacuation drills
• Ensure compliance with EHS-related laws and company standards

Requirements

• Technical college or university degree
• 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
• Qualification as a Safety/Health Supervisor or equivalent knowledge
• Ability to understand and apply EHS laws and regulations in Japanese
• English proficiency for documentation and team communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in science or engineering (Mechanical, Safety, Environmental, or Chemical)
• Qualifications in fire prevention or disaster management
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
