Responsibilities

• Assist environmental programs of wastewater, storm water, waste management and air pollution control
• Manage DI process water system maintenance, sanitation and operation
• Prepare environmental reports for EPA, TCEQ, City, and TRA to ensure compliance
• Assist in the development of company-wide environmental standards, Work Instructions, and SOPs
• Manage RCRA Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste classification, profiling, and disposal
• Inspect and audit plant environmental programs for conformance to regulations
• Implement continuous improvement and sustainability projects
• Adhere to all safety policies including Lock Out/Tag Out/Try Out (LOTOTO)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or minimum of 2 years of relevant environmental experience
• Working knowledge of wastewater treatment, hazard communication, PBR, SPCC, SWPPP, and STEERS
• Competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
• Strong technical report writing skills
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and manipulate up to a 500-pound drum
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Worth, Texas

• HAZWOPER 40-Hour Training Certificate
