Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure regulatory compliance
• Identify workplace hazards and conduct risk assessments for ergonomics, air quality, and chemical handling
• Investigate accidents and near misses using root cause analysis
• Oversee waste management, pollution prevention, and sustainability practices
• Design and deliver safety training programs to promote a culture of safety awareness
• Develop emergency response plans and coordinate incident responses
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and maintain accurate compliance records
• Manage environmental permits and vendor management for chemical disposal
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Management, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in hazard assessment, safety risk management, and industrial hygiene
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, CUPA, SCAQMD, and EPA regulations
• Experience working in manufacturing, office, and cleanroom environments
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
• Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM)
• Experience within the aerospace industry
