Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator

8Fleet is a rapidly growing technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both non-autonomous and future autonomous rideshare fleets.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain company health & safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and Cal/OSHA regulations
• Conduct routine site safety inspections and assist with incident investigations
• Maintain safety records, logs, and required compliance documentation
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with insurance carriers and medical providers
• Coordinate TrustLine applications, Live Scan fingerprinting, and serve as onsite drug testing collector
• Perform regular safety audits to identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
• Support relationships with workers’ compensation, drug testing, and safety vendors

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, HR compliance, or workers’ compensation
• Knowledge of OSHA and California workplace safety regulations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Ability to walk garage depot floors and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing workers’ compensation claims
• Experience coordinating drug & alcohol testing programs
• Experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse, or fleet operations
• OSHA certification or other safety-related certification
