Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the Power Electronics Systems (PES) Business Unit EHS program to ensure regulatory compliance and risk reduction
• Build and lead a team of employees to ensure operational safety and compliance
• Monitor EHS regulations and recommend updates to company policies, plans, and procedures
• Manage ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, ensuring audit readiness and continuous improvement
• Review EHS requirements for contracts and supplier agreements to mitigate third-party risk
• Lead EHS audits to verify compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
• Recommend and implement processes for documenting and investigating unsafe conduct
• Manage EHS training certification, qualification, and expiration tracking
• Ensure compliance with site drug/alcohol and background screening programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, industrial hygiene, or a related field
• 5 years of EHS experience within an industrial environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, NFPA, and NEC regulations
• Experience working within ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 industrial environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as ASP, CSP, or CIH
• Experience leading teams in manufacturing and warehouse environments
• Experience with foreign-owned businesses, preferably Japanese
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or Vietnamese
• Experience working with field service organizations or international clients
