Environmental Health and Safety Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage EHSS programs to build a robust safety culture emphasizing zero harm and environmental mindfulness
• Drive data-driven process improvements and analyze evolving EHS regulations to ensure industry-standard goals are met
• Proactively identify potential hazards, recommend corrective actions, and ensure safety compliance in a manufacturing setting
• Conduct objective accident investigations, analyze injury trends, and coordinate necessary corrective actions
• Perform safety audits, job hazard analyses, and risk assessments to support site decision-making
• Collaborate with operations and site leadership to implement and develop a strong safety and environmental culture
• Support all shifts as needed to provide adequate safety oversight and presence

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on EHS experience in a manufacturing plant environment
• Degree in EHS or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong working knowledge of Federal and Local EHS regulations and policies
• Proven experience in accident investigation and injury reduction
• Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and support all production shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Process Safety Management (PSM) certification or significant background
• Relevant EHS certifications such as ASP or CSP
