About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce EHS policies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including ISO-14001 and ISO-45001 standards
- Perform regular risk assessments, hazard analyses, and facility inspections to identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental risks
- Conduct routine safety audits and maintain accurate documentation, including incident reports and compliance audits
- Provide comprehensive EHS training to employees regarding safety protocols, procedures, and emergency response
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement effective corrective actions
- Manage environmental programs, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives
- Promote a proactive culture of safety, well-being, and compliance across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or a related field
- Proven experience working within a lean manufacturing environment
- Strong risk assessment and data analysis skills
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
