Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and oversight of company-wide EHS programs, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA and industry-specific standards
• Conduct job site safety audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses
• Develop and deliver safety training and onboarding programs for field and management personnel
• Track required team member safety certifications through established systems
• Partner with operations leadership to integrate safety into all phases of telecom infrastructure projects
• Lead emergency response planning and ensure preparedness across all job sites and facilities
• Track and analyze safety metrics to drive continuous improvement and risk reduction
• Travel regularly to field job sites to monitor safety performance and provide support

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of EHS experience within construction, telecommunications, utilities, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements
• Experience supporting field operations involving voice/data networks, fiber optic installation, or similar infrastructure work
• Proven ability to build, implement, and scale safety programs in field-based environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly to job sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Construction Management, or a related field
• CSP, CHST, or similar safety certification
• Experience in telecommunications or infrastructure construction environments
