Environmental Health and Safety Accelerated Development Program

Responsibilities

• Assist the site EHS Manager with daily safety-focused tasks and mid-to-large scale projects
• Participate in developmental activities including audits, incident investigations, and environmental practice reviews
• Develop site safety plans and learn to manage safety observations and hazard tracking systems
• Foster a positive safety culture through proactive interactions with employees
• Support VPP certification or re-certification processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree completed by January or June 2026
• Minimum overall GPA of 2.8
• Willingness to relocate for the program and for targeted roles upon completion
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related major
• Previous internship or co-op experience within Sherwin-Williams
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations or VPP programs
• Previous internship, co-op, or work experience in a related field
• Demonstrated leadership experience through extracurricular or community involvement
