About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the site EHS Manager with daily safety-focused tasks and mid-to-large scale projects
- Participate in developmental activities including audits, incident investigations, and environmental practice reviews
- Develop site safety plans and learn to manage safety observations and hazard tracking systems
- Foster a positive safety culture through proactive interactions with employees
- Support VPP certification or re-certification processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed by January or June 2026
- Minimum overall GPA of 2.8
- Willingness to relocate for the program and for targeted roles upon completion
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, or a related major
- Previous internship or co-op experience within Sherwin-Williams
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations or VPP programs
- Previous internship, co-op, or work experience in a related field
- Demonstrated leadership experience through extracurricular or community involvement
