Environmental Geologist/Scientist

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document site investigation activities including sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, and vapor intrusion
• Plan and conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
• Provide environmental compliance support including data collection for permitting and regulatory evaluation
• Prepare work plans, technical reports, and compile field notes
• Maintain field equipment and travel to client sites to support project work

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in geology, engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited college
• Minimum 1 year of experience in multimedia sampling and environmental consulting preferred
• Ability to work 50% in the field
• Ability to travel regionally, including overnight travel
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• HAZWOPER training and certification
• Experience developing and revising environmental written plans such as SPCC or stormwater plans
