About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental quality testing and inspections at designated customer sites.
- Collect, interpret, and submit accurate data using electronic monitors and specialized equipment.
- Coordinate site arrival times with customers to ensure professional communication.
- Maintain and calibrate all assigned field equipment to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Document field samples by accurately completing chains of custody and submitting them to laboratories.
- Identify additional client needs or project scope opportunities during site visits.
- Comply with all company safety training and security practices while in the field.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-year degree in building sciences, engineering, science, environmental/EH&S, or a related technology degree (e.g., HVAC).
- At least two years of experience in the environmental industry.
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Ability to travel locally and regionally up to 40%.
- Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and walk facility grounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry-specific certifications.
- Experience with Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) testing or field inspections.
- Strong computer skills and comfort using technology for data collection.
