Environmental Engineer ICPE

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory compliance for hazardous and non-hazardous waste treatment centers regarding ICPE regulations.
• Conduct regular site visits and audits across approximately 10 centers in France to anticipate regulatory changes.
• Perform regulatory monitoring and alert agencies on evolving requirements and compliance conditions.
• Update and manage all regulatory documentation, including Hazard Studies, DRPCE, POI, and lightning studies.
• Manage industrial risks in coordination with the Group Fire Risk Prevention Manager.
• Support Site Directors during DREAL inspections and assist in drafting responses and action plans.
• Act as an RSE (CSR) relay to support sustainable operational techniques aligned with the "O’Climat" transition policy.
• Provide technical training and support to operational managers on regulatory subjects.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Environment or Chemistry.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICPE consulting or within a specialized engineering firm.
• Strong mastery of technical aspects for waste industrial sites (Prefectural decrees, Hazard Studies, DRPCE, POI, MTD, etc.).
• Ability to travel regularly throughout France to visit various agency sites.
