Environmental Driver Specialist

Responsibilities

• Package and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local regulations
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records
• Load and secure materials or unload truck at customer sites or Clean Earth locations
• Provide high-level customer service to assigned accounts
• Perform documented pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Plan routes and schedules based on customer needs and manifests
• Follow all DOT guidelines and routing software instructions

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel)
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement
• Valid TWIC Card
• At least 1 year of route driving experience
• Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations
