About the role
Responsibilities
- Package and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local regulations
- Complete required paperwork in accordance with regulations and customer policies
- Load and secure materials and waste or unload truck at customer sites
- Prepare and load truck with necessary supplies
- Provide high-level customer service to assigned accounts
- Perform documented pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Plan schedules and routes based on customer needs and manifests
- Follow all DOT guidelines while driving
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- Valid TWIC Card
- Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations
