About the role
Responsibilities
- Travel between customer retail facilities through assigned territory
- Characterize, segregate, package, and document retail hazardous and pharmaceutical waste
- Process lab packs and prepare manifests and LDRs for hazardous waste shipment
- Manage route to maintain compliance with 10-day transfer schedules
- Provide training and support for customers on regulatory compliance
- Provide written and verbal reports to customers and supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL B)
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check
Preferred Qualifications
- TWIC Card
- Hazmat Endorsement
- Experience driving box trucks
- Three or more years of related warehouse experience
- Ability to operate a powered industrial forklift truck
- Knowledge of DOT packaging requirements and OSHA regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
