Environmental Driver Specialist CDLB

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local regulations
• Label containers and complete manifests and work orders
• Classify, segregate, and inventory waste containers in storage
• Conduct lab pack operations by packing small chemical waste containers into larger ones
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report spills, accidents, or leaks immediately
• Provide hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal services from customer sites
• Process Universal Hazardous Waste manifests, bills of lading, and LDRs
• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, and moving items
• Operate hand trucks, drum dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts
• Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of assigned company vehicles and equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid CDL Class B license
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Minimum age of 21 years

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of related industry experience
• Experience operating a CMV with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of DOT packaging, OSHA regulations, and facility permitting
• Experience with Driver E-Log systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• 40hr Hazwoper Certificate
