Environmental Driver Specialist CDLB

Responsibilities

• Package, transport, and properly dispose of waste materials according to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Load and secure materials or waste and unload trucks at various customer sites or company locations.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records in accordance with customer policies and regulations.
• Perform documented pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Plan routes and schedules based on customer needs and routing software.
• Provide high-level customer service to assigned accounts and communicate issues to management.
• Travel along assigned routes, including up to 4 overnights and some weekend work.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
• Basic proficiency with Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement (or ability to obtain one as a condition of employment).
• Valid TWIC Card.
• At least 1 year of route driving experience.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations.
