Environmental Driver Specialist CDLA

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to federal, state, and local regulations
• Label containers and complete manifests and work orders
• Pickup and drop off loaded and empty roll off boxes using a tractor trailer
• Perform End Dump, van trailer, and Tanker work as needed
• Conduct warehouse tasks including loading, unloading, and moving waste materials
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and hand trucks
• Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report spills or accidents immediately
• Maintain regular contact with customers to deliver and collect waste containers

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
• Hazmat Endorsement
• 2+ years of similar driving experience
• Ability to drive a manual transmission without restrictions
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Tanker Endorsement
• Airbrake Endorsement
