Environmental Driver Specialist CDLA

Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport waste safely according to all federal, state, and local rules and regulations
• Label containers and complete pre-printed manifests and work orders
• Pickup and drop off loaded and empty roll off boxes using a tractor trailer
• Perform End Dump, van trailer, and Tanker work as needed
• Perform warehouse work related to receipt, shipment, storage, and distribution of waste materials
• Operate hand trucks, forklifts, or other heavy equipment
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report all losses, spills, or accidents immediately
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers to deliver and collect waste containers

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• At least 21 years of age
• Hazmat Endorsement
• 2+ years of similar driving experience
• Ability to drive a Manual Transmission without restrictions
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Tanker Endorsement
• Airbrake Endorsement
