About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain operating status of all environmental permits and licensing compliance requirements
  • Track compliance permits and invoices using EHS Software Systems
  • Oversee EPA Identification Numbers, State Chemical Permits, Air Permits, and Safety Permits for all required locations
  • Assist with the creation, review, and updates of hazardous waste business plans in CERS
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local ordinances and guidelines
  • Maintain effective working relationships with business owners, management companies, customers, and regulators
  • Research new and current regulatory rules to facilitate permit processing for existing and new locations
  • Manage vendor communication and onboarding for new and relocated locations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Engineering, Earth Science, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in Environmental Management, consulting, or regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proven experience managing environmental compliance programs
  • Ability to travel to meetings and stores as necessary
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment Background and MVR Check
