About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain operating status of all environmental permits and licensing compliance requirements
- Track compliance permits and invoices using EHS Software Systems
- Oversee EPA Identification Numbers, State Chemical Permits, Air Permits, and Safety Permits for all required locations
- Assist with the creation, review, and updates of hazardous waste business plans in CERS
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local ordinances and guidelines
- Maintain effective working relationships with business owners, management companies, customers, and regulators
- Research new and current regulatory rules to facilitate permit processing for existing and new locations
- Manage vendor communication and onboarding for new and relocated locations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Engineering, Earth Science, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in Environmental Management, consulting, or regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proven experience managing environmental compliance programs
- Ability to travel to meetings and stores as necessary
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Background and MVR Check
