Responsibilities

• Conduct mapping of flora and fauna and habitat assessments
• Plan and execute field work, including sampling of water, soil, and waste media
• Monitor construction measures in the field to ensure compliance with environmental permit requirements
• Coordinate, evaluate, and document field work and analytical processes
• Prepare investigation reports, documentation, and expert opinions
• Supervise drilling and remediation measures
• Adhere to legal and internal occupational safety regulations

Requirements

• University degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) in Geoecology, Landscape Ecology, Geosciences, or equivalent training
• Initial experience in faunal mapping (e.g., breeding birds and amphibians)
• Experience in soil and/or groundwater exploration
• Driver's license (Class B)
• Very good German language skills (written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of biotope mapping
• Knowledge of nature conservation law permit procedures
• Good English language skills
