Responsibilities
- Conduct mapping of flora and fauna and habitat assessments
- Plan and execute field work, including sampling of water, soil, and waste media
- Monitor construction measures in the field to ensure compliance with environmental permit requirements
- Coordinate, evaluate, and document field work and analytical processes
- Prepare investigation reports, documentation, and expert opinions
- Supervise drilling and remediation measures
- Adhere to legal and internal occupational safety regulations
Requirements
- University degree (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) in Geoecology, Landscape Ecology, Geosciences, or equivalent training
- Initial experience in faunal mapping (e.g., breeding birds and amphibians)
- Experience in soil and/or groundwater exploration
- Driver's license (Class B)
- Very good German language skills (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of biotope mapping
- Knowledge of nature conservation law permit procedures
- Good English language skills
