Environmental Consultant – Contaminated Land

Responsibilities

• Participate in projects involving contaminated land, ecology/nature value assessments, and environmental impact assessments
• Support consultations and permitting processes
• Work on projects ranging from local to national levels, including mines, power lines, urban development, and renewable energy sites
• Provide environmental expertise to industry, energy, and infrastructure business areas

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental, Geochemistry, or equivalent
• Advanced GIS skills (ArcGIS Pro or equivalent) with experience in spatial analysis and modelling
• Documented experience from environmental projects in the Nordic region
• Experience with contaminated land
• Fluency in English, written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with environmental modelling
• Experience in advanced quantitative calculations in Excel
• Experience using Python for GIS automation, data processing, or modelling
