Environmental Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and follow up environmental work throughout the project from design to production
• Act as the client's representative regarding environmental matters
• Ensure compliance with contracts, authority requirements, permits, budget, and quality standards
• Monitor contractor documentation, self-controls, and environmental compliance
• Manage deviations, risks, and forecasts, reporting status to project management
• Participate in construction, design, and economic meetings
• Collaborate with contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders
• Assist in procurement, inspections, and final documentation

Requirements

• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental technical roles (e.g., Site Manager, Project Manager, Construction Manager)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in road or railway projects involving mass management, untreated masses, or water activities
• Proven track record with at least three references from railway projects involving contaminated areas or mass management within the last five years
• Experience with at least one track replacement project including ballast cleaning with a contract value of at least 100 MSEK
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, standards, and Trafikverket's guiding documents
• Proficiency in standard agreements (AB, ABT, ABK) and AMA AF/AMA AF Konsult
• Valid driver's license (Category B)
• Required certifications: BASÄSKYDD, SOS-planerare, BAS-P/U, BASTAB, and TDOK 2018:0371 (steps 1.1, 1.2, 1.3)
