Environmental and Sustainability Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in designing environmental requirements for building and urban projects
• Follow up on environmental requirements throughout the project lifecycle to ensure sustainability
• Provide strategic advisory services in early project stages to minimize risks and meet legal requirements
• Coordinate environmental certifications and conduct climate risk analyses
• Develop client relationships and act as a key advisor for public authorities, property owners, and contractors
• Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other technical disciplines

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as an environmental consultant, sustainability specialist, or environmental coordinator
• Proven experience with environmental coordination or building certifications
• Fluency in both Swedish and English (written and spoken)
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, unprejudiced approach to teamwork

Preferred Qualifications

• Education and certification in frameworks such as Miljöbyggnad, BREEAM, or LEED
• Practical experience with climate calculations and technical assessment tools
• Knowledge of the EU Taxonomy and Svanen certification
