Environmental and Sustainability Consultant: Hydrology

Responsibilities

• Participate in environmental projects at local and national levels
• Work within contaminated land, ecology/nature value assessments, and environmental impact assessments
• Support consultations and permitting processes
• Provide holistic sustainability expertise across various sectors including mining, energy, and infrastructure

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental, Hydrology, Geochemistry, or equivalent
• Experience with hydrological models such as Scalgo or similar
• Documented experience from environmental projects in the Nordic region
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modelling of wetlands and watercourses
• Advanced quantitative calculations in Excel
• Experience in stormwater modeling
• Experience with modelling in HEC-HMS, MIKE, or SWAT
• Proficiency in Python for GIS automation, data processing, or modelling
