Environmental and Social Development Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the intake and evaluation of new complaints by reviewing submissions and preparing intake reports
• Assist in the oversight of portfolio cases by monitoring solution implementations and identifying sector or regional trends
• Support the preparation of monthly corporate and CMU-specific logs for Grievance Redress Service (GRS) cases
• Review management responses, action plans, and monitoring reports for IPN/CAO cases
• Contribute data and inputs to the Integrated Risk (IR) Dashboard to provide senior leadership with a consolidated view of E&S risks
• Develop regular progress reports, guidance materials, and lessons learned to communicate unit deliverables

Requirements

• Master's degree in social sciences, law, political science, environmental/natural sciences, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in E&S risk management, including private sector experience in sustainability
• Strong knowledge of the IFC Sustainability Framework and/or WBG Environmental and Social Framework
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with high integrity and emotional intelligence
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize diverse information sources and draw conclusions
