Environmental Analyst

Responsibilities

• Plan and renew environmental authorizations and prepare reports for federal, state, and municipal authorities.
• Execute rescue activities for flora and protected species, including reforestation and restoration programs.
• Monitor species survival rates and implement quarry rehabilitation plans.
• Supervise atmospheric measurement programs and monitoring services.
• Oversee waste management processes, including collection, disposal, and documentation for co-processing.
• Manage water usage logs, rights payments, and corresponding environmental reports.
• Monitor alternative fuel management and maintain updated environmental performance indicators.
• Support the design and execution of environmental emergency drills.

Requirements

• University degree in Environmental Engineering, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the cement or mining industry.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and municipal environmental legislation.
• Technical expertise in biology, forestry, sustainability, and ISO environmental management systems.
• Experience in managing hazardous solid waste and environmental impact assessments.
• Ability to travel between plants.
• Availability to split time between office work (50%) and field work (50%).
