About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of the Port Arthur Incineration Facility Environmental program
- Develop and implement environmental policies, programs, and systems
- Provide environmental regulatory guidance to facility personnel
- Maintain records and submit reports to agencies such as TCEQ and EPA
- Review spills and releases to determine root causes and corrective actions
- Manage the Third-Party Audit program
- Assist facility personnel in using Dakota software (Auditor, Profiler, and Tracer)
- Provide training on environmental regulations and permit requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental regulatory or compliance field
- Knowledge of RCRA, TSCA, CWA, and CAA
- Experience with RCRA hazardous waste regulations preferred
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Valid driver's license
