Environmental Advisor

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite environmental leadership and practical advice across live construction activities
• Prepare, review, and implement Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP), sub-plans, and Environmental Work Method Statements
• Support compliance with environmental licences, approvals, permits, and project conditions
• Conduct inspections, audits, and monitoring activities, and support necessary corrective actions
• Deliver environmental inductions, toolbox talks, and targeted training to site teams

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in environmental roles within civil engineering and infrastructure
• Working knowledge of environmental legislation, approvals, and compliance obligations
• Full driver's licence and access to own transport
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers and subcontractors
