Environmental Advisor

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and compliance of the project’s Environmental Management Plans, procedures, and approval requirements.
• Carry out site inspections, environmental monitoring, and reporting across noise, vibration, water, air quality, and sustainability performance.
• Investigate environmental incidents and complaints, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement on site.
• Provide practical environmental advice to construction teams to ensure strong performance across the project.
• Lead and support environmental training, toolbox talks, pre-starts, and site inductions to build awareness.
• Identify innovative sustainability initiatives and contribute to best-practice environmental outcomes.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Engineering or Science.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance, Company Quality Plans, and legal/moral duty of care.
• Working knowledge of safety and environmental legislation, Australian Standards, and industry codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current C-Class Driver’s Licence (essential for travel between active construction sites).
