Environment Support Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical technology infrastructure to ensure high availability of non-production environments.
• Resolve complex technical issues through Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and end-to-end triage.
• Remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities across business units in accordance with bank standards.
• Automate patching workflows and enhance monitoring capabilities using Ansible and Chef.
• Perform preventative maintenance on hardware and software to ensure optimal system performance.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and a knowledge base for resolved cases and automation activities.
• Identify and mitigate potential service-impacting risks and issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Application Support.
• Experience with infrastructure vulnerability remediation.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible and Chef.
• Strong skills in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and technical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MS SQL Server).
• Experience supporting Web and Application Servers (e.g., Apache, JBOSS, WAS).
• Understanding of SSL/TLS encryption and PKI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of messaging and streaming technologies like IBM MQ or Kafka.
• Experience with firewall management and Cyber wallet.
• Ability to lead triage calls and coordinate technical resources during incidents.
