Environment Infrastructure Manager

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for IT Services and implement up-to-date methodologies and processes.
• Manage the IT Services department, including oversight of colleague performance and departmental goals.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and control standards for IT Services.
• Manage IT Services risk by identifying potential threats and developing mitigation strategies.
• Monitor financial performance, including cost control and driving value from commercial agreements.
• Oversee IT Services projects, driving research and the delivery of integrated solutions.
• Maintain critical technology infrastructure and resolve complex technical issues to minimize operational disruption.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure the quality of external third-party services.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating CI/CD release pipelines and a strong understanding of DevOps concepts.
• Experience building and supporting cloud infrastructure, preferably on Red Hat platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Chef and Ansible.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows administration.
• Strong experience in Incident and Change Management processes.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team, guiding professional development and coordinating resources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of middleware technologies including WAS, JBOSS, TOMCAT, MQ, and Connect:Direct.
• Experience monitoring infrastructure components such as MQ, WAS, and JBoss.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to triage issues alongside multiple stakeholders.
