About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and map a wide range of realistic 3D art to enrich in-game environments
- Create procedural 2D and 3D art using traditional modeling packages and procedural node graphs
- Work across various styles while maintaining artistic standards
- Communicate timelines effectively and apply feedback from leads and directors
- Participate in R&D and problem solving for technical artistic solutions
- Stay informed on the latest 3D art development technology
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a 3D Artist in gaming or a similar industry
- Excellent 3D environment art creation skills and artistic expertise
- Experience with Houdini and a working knowledge of VEX
- Ability to work with high self-direction and motivation
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, milestone-driven environment
- A portfolio showcasing procedural art generation is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of physically based materials
- Experience with DCCs like 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, or Substance Designer
- Experience with real-time game engines and toolsets
- Experience with scripting languages like MAXScript or Python
