Responsibilities

  • Build and map a wide range of realistic 3D art to enrich in-game environments
  • Create procedural 2D and 3D art using traditional modeling packages and procedural node graphs
  • Work across various styles while maintaining artistic standards
  • Communicate timelines effectively and apply feedback from leads and directors
  • Participate in R&D and problem solving for technical artistic solutions
  • Stay informed on the latest 3D art development technology

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a 3D Artist in gaming or a similar industry
  • Excellent 3D environment art creation skills and artistic expertise
  • Experience with Houdini and a working knowledge of VEX
  • Ability to work with high self-direction and motivation
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, milestone-driven environment
  • A portfolio showcasing procedural art generation is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of physically based materials
  • Experience with DCCs like 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, or Substance Designer
  • Experience with real-time game engines and toolsets
  • Experience with scripting languages like MAXScript or Python
