Entry Spin Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate touch-sensitive machines to roll flanges on disks and dished heads
• Set up machines by lifting and centering workpieces into fixtures on turntables
• Adjust for metal thickness and curvature before setting bending pressure
• Load material for processing and verify dimensional requirements
• Unload and transfer material to the next workstation or storage area
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials
• Maintain housekeeping standards and complete all required documentation and job cards

Requirements

• Experience operating overhead cranes
• Ability to read blueprints and job cards
• Ability to complete accurate production documentation
• Ability to safely and efficiently perform all essential job functions

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience operating flanging machines
