Entry Level Miner

Responsibilities

• Drive communication and safe production while maintaining high efficiency
• Assist with MSHA regulatory task training and compliance verification
• Perform quality pre-operation machine inspections
• Document 5000-23 and training checklist requirements
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping for machines and work areas
• Participate in risk assessment and hazard identification processes
• Operate equipment including water trucks and haulage trucks through on-the-job training

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience in mining or heavy industry preferred
• Ability to adhere to OSHA and MSHA regulatory requirements
• Valid and insurable driving license
• Ability to lift and carry up to 85 pounds
• Ability to perform physical tasks including kneeling, crouching, climbing, and squatting
• Flexibility to work various shift schedules including days and nights
• Strong communication skills in English
