Entry Level Medical Screener

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and answer phones while ensuring the safety of donors and the team
• Screen new and repeat donors by recording vital signs and finger stick results
• Use the Donor Information System to prepare charts and maintain accurate records
• Coordinate donor compensation and manage donor documentation
• Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement within the center
• Perform phlebotomy and other screening tasks to support plasma center operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for the entire work shift
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Fine motor coordination and depth perception
• Ability to wear gloves for prolonged periods due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 or more years of experience in a customer-facing or patient-facing role
