Entertainment Host/ess

Responsibilities

• Facilitate scheduled entertainment for children, families, and adults
• Function as emcee for events and activities using various scripts
• Engage and interact with Guests with high energy and enthusiasm
• Perform meet and greet functions during embarkation and debarkation
• Assist with Port Adventures dispatch and guest check-in
• Host activities, games, and trivia contests
• Maintain appropriate Guest flow and advise on onboard activities
• Conduct required sanitizing procedures based on USPH requirements
• Maintain stock levels and distribute departmental supplies
• Report costume, technical, and maintenance needs

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience in hosting, stage, or public speaking
• Minimum two years of experience in public relations, entertainment, resort, or camp settings
• Ability to command the attention of large groups
• Ability to learn dance routines and perform in a club-style setting
• Ability to perform in environments with special effects like pyrotechnics and fog
• Willingness to live and work onboard a vessel in a multicultural environment
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing
• Possession of a valid passport
