About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and operate the identity system, including lifecycle automation, access governance, SSO/SCIM onboarding, and phishing-resistant MFA.
- Manage and harden the endpoint fleet through centralized device management, baseline configuration, and compliance enforcement as code.
- Operate endpoint detection and protection using EDR platforms to tune posture and reduce vulnerability exposure.
- Develop automation and agentic AI systems to eliminate manual security tasks such as access reviews, onboarding/offboarding, and audit evidence collection.
- Partner with detection and response teams to deliver high-fidelity identity and endpoint telemetry to monitoring systems.
- Establish secure-by-default standards for SaaS and enterprise tooling, including emerging AI tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of IT or security engineering experience in fast-paced technology companies.
- Deep hands-on Okta expertise, specifically with SAML/OIDC, SCIM provisioning, and API-driven automation.
- Experience with endpoint management at scale using Jamf (macOS hardening) and familiarity with Windows management.
- Experience operating EDR platforms, such as CrowdStrike Falcon.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- Proven track record of building agentic AI systems to automate complex workflows.
- Ability to work in-person in our downtown Toronto office four days per week.
