About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement account-specific sales strategies to drive growth and long-term customer value.
  • Identify new business opportunities and position Vertiv’s solutions to address customer challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, technical teams, and procurement leaders.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and business cases that align with customer goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Bid Management, Product, Marketing, and Technical Services.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts and performance reports to leadership.
  • Support post-sales engagement to identify opportunities for expansion and long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
  • 7+ years of experience in consultative technical sales and managing key accounts.
  • Proven experience and knowledge in data centers, colocation providers, and telecom infrastructure.
  • Experience working within the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) sectors.
  • Excellent customer relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex accounts with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
  • Strong strategic thinking and stakeholder influencing capabilities.
