About the role
Responsibilities
- Source highly-qualified opportunities for Account Executives through proactive outreach
- Strategize cross-functionally with sales, channel, and marketing on prospecting plans
- Research accounts and identify key players within large retail enterprises
- Deliver compelling written and verbal messages to generate interest
- Conduct initial discovery conversations with Finance, eCommerce, and Payments Executives
- Articulate how Forter can solve customer needs and requirements
- Identify decision makers and provide insight into organizational structures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 6-12 months of previous business experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid technical aptitude and interest in tech and e-commerce
- Ability to navigate systems, tools, and processes
- Highly-motivated and driven to meet monthly and quarterly quotas
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience with Salesforce.com, SalesLoft, Common Room, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Experience using AI to automate outbound prospecting
