Enterprise Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support Enrollment Management and institutional leadership
• Transform complex institutional data into clear, actionable reporting products for operational decision-making and performance monitoring
• Act as a reporting partner to campus stakeholders by gathering and documenting business requirements
• Translate business needs into technical reporting solutions across multiple enterprise systems
• Ensure reporting consistency, usability, and reliability through rigorous data validation and reconciliation
• Manage multiple reporting requests and deadlines while collaborating with various functional offices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence, preferably in a higher education or ERP environment
• Strong SQL skills for querying enterprise data warehouses or Operational Data Stores (ODS)
• Experience with Ellucian Banner (Student, Financial Aid, Finance, or related modules) or comparable ERP systems
• Experience developing reports and dashboards using IBM Cognos Analytics or similar enterprise reporting tools
• Proven ability to validate and reconcile data with high attention to detail and data integrity
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cognos Framework Manager, report authoring, or query development in an enterprise environment
• Experience working in a higher education Institutional Research, Enrollment Management Analytics, or central reporting environment
• Familiarity with FERPA and higher education data security and reporting standards
