About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for Windows and Linux desktops, laptops, and associated peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software incidents
- Perform installation, configuration, and deployment of devices using standard corporate images
- Manage OS installation, reinstallation, upgrades, and patch management
- Install and configure software applications for engineering and business teams
- Assist with hardware and software procurement and vendor coordination
- Manage on-site IT asset management, including inventory, tracking, and disposal
- Monitor and resolve IT service requests and tickets within defined SLAs
- Support daily IT operations, including basic data network and server-related tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of relevant IT work experience
- Fluency in both English and French
- Strong experience in Windows and Linux (L2 level support)
- Hands-on knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware troubleshooting
- Experience with OS imaging, patching, and endpoint management tools
- Knowledge of IT asset management and inventory systems
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and server environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft or Linux certifications
- Experience working in enterprise or engineering environments
- Familiarity with endpoint security and compliance standards
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management abilities
