About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver implementation and consulting services focused on legacy and cloud migrations
  • Architect and implement cloud availability solutions, data protection, and monitoring using Veeam tools
  • Create technical documentation including white papers, solution guides, and best practices
  • Provide project guidance including project plans, schedules, and resource management
  • Assist with solution implementation effort estimation and the development of new Professional Services offerings
  • Perform onsite knowledge transfer and provide guidance on optimal Veeam configurations
  • Mentor new and junior team members
  • Travel up to 75% to meet company goals and client objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in Cloud and/or service provider environments
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Veeam Core products
  • 3-4 years of professional Consulting experience
  • Significant experience with VMware and Hyper-V
  • Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment (Fibre channel, Ethernet, Cloud services)
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with orchestration and workflow tools
  • Experience with disruptive storage systems (Nimble, Nexsan, Actifio, etc.)
  • Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures (EMC, NetApp, IBM, HP/3PAR, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications such as Exchange, SQL, or Oracle
  • Proven track record of managing multiple simultaneous projects and accounts
