Enterprise Application Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the technology strategy and future-state planning for the Wealth Management domain.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop and maintain technology roadmaps and strategies.
• Drive AI-first application architecture by embedding GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities into domain roadmaps.
• Design and govern AI-ready application architecture patterns integrating LLMs, APIs, and data platforms.
• Perform technical evaluations and benchmarking of core application platforms, frameworks, and technologies.
• Specify and publish standards regarding application design and software engineering best practices.
• Provide recommendations on system options, risks, cost/benefit analysis, and impact on cross-domain systems.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to communicate architecture strategies and direction.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT Architecture or IT consulting experience.
• Foundational experience with Java and React.
• Experience with Event Driven Architecture (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis) and API-first development.
• Experience with Public Cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including cloud-native services.
• Demonstrated experience using Architecture Methodologies such as TOGAF or Archimate.
• Expertise in Domain Driven Design (DDD) and microservices-based architectures.
• Strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Insurance and Wealth Management industries.
• Experience in Capability mapping and business architecture concepts.
• Proven track record of designing architectural reference materials.
