About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of approximately 50 Mid-Market Sellers
  • Retain and grow portfolio via use-case expansion, cross-selling, and customized onboarding
  • Identify technical Square solutions to address customer needs and project manage execution
  • Negotiate contracts for use-case expansion and retention
  • Serve as the voice of the upmarket seller with Product Teams
  • Provide white-glove client service to ensure resolution of seller issues
  • Inform operations and program design for the segment at scale

Requirements

  • 5+ years of account management or sales experience
  • Experience within the Retail industry
  • Proven track record of over-performance on key metrics
  • Technical solutioning framework and requirements gathering skills
  • Experience managing projects with engineering, product, and finance teams
  • Experience with contract and pricing negotiations with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic problem-solving capabilities
