About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of approximately 50 Mid-Market Sellers
- Retain and grow portfolio via use-case expansion, cross-selling, and customized onboarding
- Identify technical Square solutions to address customer needs and project manage execution
- Negotiate contracts for use-case expansion and retention
- Serve as the voice of the upmarket seller with Product Teams
- Provide white-glove client service to ensure resolution of seller issues
- Inform operations and program design for the segment at scale
Requirements
- 5+ years of account management or sales experience
- Experience within the Retail industry
- Proven track record of over-performance on key metrics
- Technical solutioning framework and requirements gathering skills
- Experience managing projects with engineering, product, and finance teams
- Experience with contract and pricing negotiations with senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strategic problem-solving capabilities
