Patch is a platform scaling unified climate action by connecting Fortune 500 sustainability commitments to credible environmental projects like carbon removal, nature-based solutions, and renewable energy certificates. Think Bloomberg for environmental markets or Stripe for climate finance.
Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle enterprise deals in the APAC territory, from cold outreach and discovery to multi-stakeholder negotiation and closing
- Build and manage a qualified enterprise pipeline through disciplined prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach
- Navigate complex, consensus-driven buying committees within large APAC enterprises and Japanese trading houses
- Serve as a trusted advisor to accounts, providing market intelligence on voluntary and compliance carbon markets
- Partner with APAC GM and internal teams (Product, Engineering, Supply) to shape regional GTM strategy and product localization
- Represent Patch at marquee regional events to establish brand presence
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying closing role
- Proven track record of 100%+ quota attainment
- Experience running complex, multi-stakeholder deals with large enterprises (1,000+ employees) in APAC
- Direct experience selling into Japanese trading houses (sōgō shōsha)
- Domain knowledge of carbon markets (voluntary or compliance) and corporate climate claims
- Proven ability to build deal flow from scratch in a 0-to-1 market-making environment
- High agency and ability to operate effectively in ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
- Japanese language fluency (business proficiency)
- Existing network of sustainability leaders across APAC
- Experience with environmental commodities (VPPAs, RECs, e-SAF, I-RECs)
- Background in ESG reporting software, energy/power, sustainability consulting, or climate finance
- Experience in a Series A–D startup environment
- Familiarity with regional frameworks such as GX League, J-Credit, TCFD, CDP, or SBTi
