Responsibilities
- Run full sales cycles from prospecting to closing, managing both self-generated and marketing/BDR-led opportunities
- Act as a trusted advisor to help customers navigate the market and educate them throughout the buying journey
- Build strong intuition regarding the target audience of developers and product leaders
- Help build and redesign sales processes to create an exceptional customer journey
- Mentor new sales team members and act as a bar-raiser for the team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, product, and growth teams to share customer insights
Requirements
- Experience selling in an early-stage B2B startup (Seed to Series C)
- Proven ability to run an excellent sales process across various customer sizes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with negotiation expertise
- Expertise in hunting new business and full sales-cycle management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical understanding of software development, APIs, and cloud-based solutions
- Prior experience selling API products or developer tools
- Consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas
- 3-5+ years of experience as a top-performing Account Executive
- Experience selling technical SaaS products with ACVs of $80k-$150k+
