About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and platform demonstrations to negotiation and closing.
- Achieve and exceed annual sales targets and growth objectives.
- Provide mentorship and support to Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to build qualified pipelines.
- Communicate the company value proposition through professional proposals and presentations.
- Act as a market expert by identifying emerging trends, unmet needs, and competitive shifts.
- Develop and implement new sales initiatives and strategies to capture key demographics.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting and an up-to-date pipeline.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of quota-carrying sales experience.
- Proven experience in B2B sales.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and active listening skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS or Martech industries.
- Previous experience selling to retail, finance, automotive, telecom, BFSI, or travel sectors.
- Strong technical aptitude and a passion for finding innovative solutions.
